GoodPlaneLiving: Backcountry Airplane Camping at Johnson Creek
Flight Report and Travel Vlog for our airplane camping trip at the Idaho backcountry airstrip of Johnson Creek in our Vans RV-10 homebuilt airplane.

This is our first LONG trip, flying around 2500 miles over a long weekend, and our first true camping trip in the plane!

Johnson Creek is a beautiful backcountry airstrip, and along with the rest of the trip, I really tried to capture the feel of flying into the valley and landing on that beautiful strip. The "landing portion" of the video is a little drawn out, but only because I wanted to show the entire approach, and I didn't cut out any time from an extended downwind until touchdown. It all happens real-time, with just some cuts between multiple cameras.
